Templates for Download

At Marketing & Creative Services, we are pleased to offer a series of templates for university departments and schools to download. These templates were designed to ensure that official and business office documents follow the university’s Identity Standards & Guidelines.

The templates you can currently download include:

  • MS PowerPoint templates (three options)
  • Fax coversheet template
  • Memo templates (Word and PDF options available for use)
  • Email signatures

Canva Graphic Templates

While we are always happy to help you with your design needs, we understand that there are some projects that are easier to accomplish with self-serve files. To help serve this need, we are excited to offer a library of branded Canva templates. If you have a recurring project and don't see a template here that suits your needs, please submit a project request. If you would like to learn more about how to use these templates you can watch a recorded training


Canva Image Resizing Templates

Use these templates and Canva to adjust images to some commonly used sizes. 


PowerPoint Templates

 

 

To use the templates, you need MS PowerPoint 7.0 or higher:

  • Download and open the desired powerpoint.
  • You can choose from two color options by going to View > Slide Master and choosing the preferred slide styles.
  • Customize each slide within the theme by using different built in layout options under the Layout button.
    • Repeat this step until your presentation is complete.
  • Go to File > Save As when ready.

Fax Templates

We are pleased to offer a Fax coversheet template for download.

To use the Fax template, you need Acrobat Reader:

  1. Download and open the Fax template PDF.
  2. Type your text where needed.
  3. Send to print at your local printer.

 

You will not be able to save the typed information unless you have Acrobat Pro installed on your device.

Memos

We also have two Memo templates for download.

MS Word Template

  • Download and open the MS Word template(.doc).
  • Type memo content.
  • Go to File > Save As when ready and save as you would normally save an MS word document.

 

PDF Template

  • To use the Memo PDF template, you need Acrobat Reader:
  • Download and open the Memo PDF template.
  • Type memo content.
  • Go to File > Save As and save as you would normally save a PDF.

 

You will not be able to save the typed information unless you have Acrobat Pro installed on your device.

 


 

Email Signatures

To use these email signatures, follow these steps: 

  1. Go to your GW Gmail settings and create an email signature.
  2. Click one of the Copy Signature buttons below to copy your preferred GW signature layout.
    • If the Copy Signature buttons do not work for you, you can also highlight the signatures and right-click to copy the text and images.
  3. Paste the GW signature into Gmail and customize it with your contact information.
    • If desired, use the formatting options to adjust the text size.
  4. Review the Signature Defaults section of your Gmail settings to make sure the new signature is being used for both versions of your GW email address.
  5. Scroll down and save your changes, then send a test email to yourself or a friend.
  1. Highlight the text and images of your preferred GW signature layout below, and then copy it.
  2. In Outlook, go to your Signature Preferences:
  3. Add a new signature and paste the signature you copied into the textbox
  4. Customize it with your contact information.
    • Be sure to highlight the default email address and use the link icon to change its text and link, otherwise it will send to the default/dummy email address.
  5. Change the Signature Defaults dropdown to use your Bicentennial signature
    • It may be to the right or beneath the text box
  6. Click the OK button or the save icon to save your changes, then send a test email to yourself or a friend.

For the best results copy the signatures below using Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

Copying from Safari will change the signature's formatting.

  1. Click one of the Copy Signature buttons below to copy your preferred GW signature layout.
  2. In Mail, go to Preferences then Signatures
  3. Select your GW email account.
    • There may be more than one email account set up on your device.
  4. Uncheck the box labeled Always match my default message font.
  5. Paste the email signature and customize it with your contact information. 
  6. Close the Preferences window to save your changes.  

These instructions only apply to the Mail app on iOS for iPhones and iPads

  1. Tap one of the Copy Signature buttons below to copy your preferred GW signature layout.
  2. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
  3. Scroll down to the Mail section.
  4. Scroll to the Signature section.
  5. Select Per Account and find your GW email account.
    • There may be more than one email account set up on your device.
  6. Paste the signature you copied into the textbox.
  7. Shake your iPhone or iPad until an Undo Change Attributes box appears and tap Undo.
  8. Customize the signature with your contact information. Any changes will be saved automatically.

At this time, the Android Gmail app only supports plain text signatures.
