Though she once had aspirations of becoming a second grade teacher, Kalee instead discovered a fascination with the strategy and thinking behind digital media when she had to create a blog and associated social media presence for a college class. Now Kalee’s work at MCS helps amass the dizzying array of digital elements—websites, photos, videos, design, writing, social and more—generated by the many people, schools, colleges, departments, programs, and offices across the university—into focused, cogent strategies and messages. From site maps to web writing guidelines to wireframes, Kalee ensures that her GW clients have the web content and digital strategy they need to not only tell their story, but also make sure it gets seen and heard. Outside of work, she’s often found piecing together her broken heart from the latest D.C. sports’ disappointments (which she usually witnesses in person) with her husband, young kids and chocolate lab.
