Though she began her career as a child life specialist, Lesley’s keen eye and collaborative impulses led her to jump at the chance to help start GW’s video department from scratch. Since then, she’s not only grown into her management role overseeing GW’s video and photo teams, but also directs the creation of multimedia content across GW’s digital properties including web, mobile, email and social media.
Yet regardless of the medium, Lesley characterizes her role as helping the world see GW through a highly creative lens while providing clients with a clear vision of what they are looking to accomplish. In the process of propelling GW’s message forward with her team of multimedia producers and photographers, Lesley has produced Emmy award-winning work, nurtured her obsession with coffee and become “quite an experienced off-camera interviewer” herself.
