I was the mascot for the George Washington University during my four years as an undergraduate. While some students were putting on the freshman 15, I was losing them thanks to George.
Josh’s parents went to American University and thought he would really like the D.C. area. It turns out they were right: Josh subsequently earned two degrees from his parents’ rival school, made a life and career in the area, and has now has spent more than a decade serving clients at MCS. Josh pilots the department’s strategic direction, works to develop new client relationships and nurture existing relationships, and constantly looks for ways that the MCS team can grow in providing support and value to the university, all while overseeing day-to-day duties in developing marketing communications for GW programs, events and campaigns. Whether working on a small web graphic, a printed program or large-scale campaign, Josh takes extreme pride in his staff and strives to provide them with both a harmonious environment and all the tools they need to succeed.
Josh showed his love for the university as an undergrad by spending four years as the GW mascot. He’s now sharing that pride with his children by raising a son and daughter who are ardent GW sports fans.
